FAQs

MyKindaFuture is an award-winning Social Enterprise that believes every person should be given equal power and opportunity to shape their future. Over the last year, we’ve worked together with 40 employer partners and engaged with 13,900 people who attended our events all over the country. We give the 80,000 people registered with us the opportunity to gain critical employability skills while connecting them with work experience and employment prospects to ensure they succeed in life and at work.

Our early talent team is divided into:

1. Attraction and Inspire Team

The Attract and Inspire Team support MKF employers with face to face and digital engagemnt.  From events at schools and universities to online challenges and work experience weeks.  We also provide up-to-date information on the current education landscape.

They also manage the Bright Futures Societies and Universtiy Campus Ambassadors.  Contact Khadijah for further information and how to apply.

2. Engagement Team

The Engagement Team usually manage the application process from start to finish. This means that when you apply to one of the recruitment opportunities they will be there to help you out from the very beginning. This includes:

  • Reading through your application form (if required)
  • Taking a look at your CV
  • Conducting telephone interviews
  • Preparing you for assessment centres with expert advice
  • In some cases, designing and running those assessment centres
  • Providing detailed feedback post assessment centre, whether you have been offered or not

Bright Futures is a national network of employability societies at over 20 universities across the UK. Run by students, for students and supported by MyKindaFuture, the Bright Futures Societies have been connecting students for over 40 years since the first society was established at Cambridge University in 1976.
Each society is run by a group of student leaders who work with a wide range of employers to bring their members great opportunities through events and experiences on campus.

You can find more about where we have a society and how to join here.  Please do also contact Khadijah if you have any questions.
